Our beloved colleague, John Palm, will be retiring as of February. A significant moment for him, but a loss for us. We had to find a new colleague willing to take on the role of Manager of Support and Operations. Fortunately, the right candidate quickly emerged. Marceline de Jongh (50) has recently joined as the Manager of Support and Operations, making it a great opportunity to get to know her better.
Hi Marceline, how did you come to join Unexus?
“When I saw the job opening, I knew I had to apply. I was looking for a challenging role with responsibility. I enjoy managing people and working with clients, and I saw those aspects in the role at Unexus. Additionally, I noticed that the position was open due to retirement, providing an opportunity for a smooth transition and organized onboarding.
The interviews progressed swiftly, and I could sense a mutual trust developing quite rapidly. The company’s vision also aligned with my approach, making it clear to me that this was where I wanted to be!”
What is your professional background?
“My work experience is diverse. I have an affinity and experience with personnel and labor, IT recruitment, and ICT services. Additionally, I have experience in international organizations and software development. In my previous role, I was also a Manager of Operations, from which I gained valuable knowledge that I can certainly apply at Unexus. I am eager to explore what things can be done differently or better.”
What is your primary focus going to be?
“I want to primarily focus on optimizing processes, ultimately aiming for higher customer and employee satisfaction. Additionally, in the coming months, I will do my best to personally meet as many clients as possible. It’s a fun challenge that will provide a lot of energy!”
